X10 Wireless Technology, Inc. designs, engineers, markets and sells easy-to-use affordable products to make everyday life safer, more convenient and more fun. The X10 Power Line Carrier protocol was created in the late 70’s and continues to be the defacto industry standard for home remote control of lights and appliances. Over the last 30 some years, the company has developed and sold millions of units, not only under the X10 brand name but also as an OEM for major consumer electronic companies such as IBM, Phillips, Magnavox and Radio Shack. Our proprietary 2.4 GHz wireless protocol enables affordable transmission of audio and video from a PC to another TV or stereo in the home.
